About Chili Pepper Seed Oil

Hungarian chili pepper seed oil is a unique and high-value culinary product obtained by gently cold-pressing selected pepper seeds. This process preserves all the vitamins, antioxidants, and natural pigments contained in the seeds. The oil features a distinct spicy heat (medium spicy taste) and a rich paprika aroma that brings both a deep flavor and an aesthetically appealing red accent to any dish.

Health Benefits & Rich Composition of hot paprika seed oil

  • Omega-6 & Omega-9 Fatty Acids (~80%): Essential for heart health and maintaining normal cholesterol levels.

  • Capsaicin: Responsible for the spiciness. Stimulates metabolism, enhances digestive juice secretion, and provides a warming effect.

  • Vitamin E: A natural antioxidant that protects body cells from oxidative stress.

  • Carotenoids (Lutein, Capsanthin): Strengthen the immune system and give the oil its vibrant color.

The spiciness level of the chili pepper oil on a 5-chili scale is 2 out of 5 (🌶️🌶️).

Hungarian chili pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) seed oil features a pleasant, medium-mild to moderate spiciness. On the Scoville scale (Scoville Heat Units), Hungarian chili pepper itself is typically around 2,000 – 10,000 SHU, meaning the oil has a warming spiciness without being scorchingly hot like chili extract or habanero peppers.

On a 5-chili scale, it breaks down as follows: 🌶️🌶️ 2 Chilis (Medium / 2,500 – 10,000 SHU) — A noticeable and distinct spiciness that pleasantly warms the throat and revitalizes dishes, while remaining easy to control without burning the mouth.

How to Use This Great Oil in the Kitchen?

Heating this oil to high temperatures is not recommended. If you wish to preserve its full nutritional value, the chili pepper seed oil is best used for:

  • Soups & Stews: Add a few drops to goulash soup, kharcho, fish soup, or any Asian-style soup right before serving.

  • Sauces & Marinades: An excellent base for spicy salad dressings and marinades.

  • Garnishing: Drizzle over hummus, cold appetizers, pizza, or roasted vegetables for a decorative effect, thanks to its beautiful reddish color (don't forget about its spiciness!!!).
